I donate personally but I would also respectfully point out to my fellow IT Managers out there, that $600 for 5 hours of professional services is a sweet deal. It keeps the pfSense ecosystem going. I’ll vouch for the fact that it’s great to have direct access to the team. They’re quick, professional and they really know their stuff. They’ll actually give you advice and you can use them during the planning stages, not just when something is broken. It’s a strategic investment, not _just_ an insurance policy. Speaking of insurance, the off-site backup feature is a huge benefit of paid support.

I know it’s hard to get a PO for a $50 donation to a great cause, but it’s pretty doable to cut a PO for $600 to get 5 hours of professional services.
