Be warned, if you install this, watch your CPU utilization. Apparently it works fine for some, but a lot of the time you’ll see threading bugs that cause it to peg at 100% CPU usage. I don’t believe this is a problem when it’s solely acting as a Netflow collector, so long term I’d like to see the package disable the listening on local interfaces and strictly collect Netflow and display the same data in that fashion.

I have not seen it use more than 15% utilization with the net flow connector enabled. It seems to behave a lot better on FreeBSD 7 based builds.

Thanks, those problems should now be resolved. Deinstall NTOP and reinstall about 15 minutes after this posting (files need to sync).
