Is it possible use schedules in Traffic Shaper? I can’t find any way to use schedules in Traffic Shaper. I wait for this option very long.

Not at this time, hopefully in a future release.

What about sites that use multiple IPs, like Google, or sites that use Akamai? This works out fine for a potentially smaller site or a place that uses techniques to route through the same IP, but unfortunately I don’t see it working out otherwise.

This is unfortunate because DD-WRT can do keyword and site based filters even on embedded platforms. I like the idea but implementing a hard drive, Squid, etc. to do it is really a bummer.

It’s not a great solution by any means. At some point we may have the ability to do this on embedded, but at the time being squid is only available on full installations (including ones on microdrives on embedded hardware, so embedded hardware users aren’t entirely stuck).

“dr. droo”, if you would like that functionality I suggest reading this:

How can I get a feature added?
