RC2 released

August 5th, 2006 by Scott Ullrich

pfSense RC2 hit the streets last week.

So far there have only been less than a handful of bugs found. Get it from a mirror near you and check out Bill’s blog for a summary of the changes.

If you happen to be impacted by one of the bugs recently found you can run the following from a shell to update:

fetch -q -o – http://www.pfsense.com/~sullrich/update_to_rc2a.sh | sh -

I should stress that you only run the above command if you know you are impacted by one of the bugs.

As always, please test it like its going out of style and report anything you find.

1.0 is incredibly close!
